A version of every excruciating climb and death defying downhill is replicated inside the game that was developed to be as easy and fun to play as some of the eight bit classic games of old.
Think Super Mario/Sonic mashup with a hint of Flappy(Birds), uh…mountain bikers, all scrambling to make it through each of the eight actual stages of the race.
Players must navigate obstacles, jump between platforms, avoid pitfalls (watch out for the falling boulders and killer rabbits!), collect boosts and additional energy and maintain the health of their bike. Completing the stage in the fastest possible time will advance you up the leaderboard.
The Ride Epic Online Game 2014 has some impressive features. With live rider tracking by Tracker enabled on the same website, you can also track Absa Cape Epic riders on the course in real time.
