Christoph Sauser and Jaroslav Kulhavy of Investec Songo Specialized have racked up their fourth stage win in the 2015 Absa Cape Epic during today’s gruelling 117km fifth stage.
The pair have now extended their lead to ten minutes ahead of Topeak Ergon’s Kristian Hynek and Alban Lakata in the general classification.
Karl Platt and Urs Huber of Team Bulls finished second followed by south African riders Darren Lill and Waylon Woolcock of RED-E Blend.
Lill and Woolcock’s finish have placed the pair back in the African jersey after Philip Buys and Matthys Beukes took over the lead after stage four.
