The results sheets of day one of the 2015 Old Mutual joBerg2c were topped by Sthembiso Masango and Mboneni Ngcobo (RMB Change a Life).
The pair, who hail from the Valley of a Thousand Hills in the Pietermaritzburg region,finished the traditional neutral 116km first stage between Heidelberg in Gauteng and Frankfort in the Free State in 4:40:22.
Catherine Williamson and Yolande de Villiers (Sasol Racing) were the first women home.
