Follow the daily progress of Louis Meintjes and Team MTN-Qhubeka at the 102nd Tour de France “live” on In the Bunch.
The South African Pro Continental team will become the first outfit from Africa to take part in the Tour de France, which departs Utrecht in the Netherlands on July 4 and culminates in Paris, France, on July 26.
All eyes will be on rising star and former national road champion Meintjes, who placed third on the Queen Stage of the Criterium Dauphine – the main warm-up event for the Tour de France – in June.
MTN-Qhubeka, powered by Samsung, announced their full 11-man Tour de France squad last month, from which the final nine would be selected.
The official 2015 TDF route was announced in October last year.
