The Lights by Linea team justified their title sponsor’s continued investment for the 2016 season when Stefan Ihlenfeldt won the 90km Durbie Dash in Durbanville this weekend.
Ihlenfeldt powered away from his rivals in an uphill sprint to the finish to complete a hat-trick of wins in the Pedal Power league races by the team.

Aurecon’s JP Jacobs took the runner-up spot while Jonothan van Gesselleen of Peugeot-Deli1 rounded out the podium.
Ihlenfeldt’s teammates Rohan du Plooy and Carl Bonthuys secured the wins in the previous two events.
Team principal Wayne Roberts confirmed that the Lights by Linea title sponsorship would continue next season, with LEADout providing the management and coaching solution.
With the focus on developing young talent, a racing stint in Europe is also planned.
