Cycling South Africa has announced a five-man national road team for the Tour of Rwanda, which starts in the capital, Kigali, on November 15.

SA’s highest ranked UCI Africa Tour rider, HB Kruger, headlines the list released by the CSA road cycling commission today.

He is joined by an on-form Willie Smit, Carl Bonthuis, James Tennant and Stefan Ihlenfeldt.
The hilly tour comprises a prologue plus seven stages, finishing on November 22.
CSA road commission director Bosseau Boshoff said the national body had selected a team with a good balance of youth and experience.
