Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka will use HIGH5’s full range of nutritional products in 2016, the team announced this week.
Last year the team made history as the first African registered cycling team to compete in the Tour de France, which included Steve Cummings’ memorable win on Mandela Day.
“I am really happy to hear we will be continuing our partnership with HIGH5,” said Cummings.
Team principal Douglas Ryder said the WorldTour was a big step up from being a Pro Continental team and to continue with tried and tested products was a bonus. “HIGH5 Sports Nutrition is based on science and trusted by our athletes, which is essential for success.”
HIGH5 general manager Wendy Lee said they were thrilled to continue the relationship.
Team Dimension Data will ride to fund 5 000 bicycles for Qhubeka through BicyclesChangeLives.org.
