Yolande de Villiers was found guilty of an anti-doping rule violation, Cycling South Africa announced in a statement today.
According to the statement, De Villiers had received a sanction of “11 months period of ineligibility imposed by the UCI”.
CSA president William Newman said that the prohibited substances hydrochlorothiazide and amilorid (diuretic) was found in three samples collected from the rider on January 31, February 28 and March 21 last year.
