The South African MTB XCO and DHI National Championships will take place at Cascades Park in Pietermaritzburg on July 16 and 17.

The event will feature cross-country mountain bike riders in various categories, from as young as 11 years to the grand masters (60+).
Each category will complete several laps, ranging from two to seven laps.
Cross-country in mountain biking is the pinnacle of the sport. It is tough and requires fitness and biking skills for the obstacles.
The degree of difficulty of the national champs will be decided by course designer Nick Floros.
Revered for his tough international-class courses, he has created a completely different course for this weekend.
