At Sunday’s Scottburgh MTB Race defending champion, Brendon Davids, will look to become the race’s first multiple winner.
Up until today there was some uncertainty if Davids was going to defend his title. However, it looks like the 23-year old is making last minute travel plans.

Davids just finished a two month racing stint in Europe and should be in good form for Scottburgh battle.

The three main rivals for Sunday will be Jedson Tooms of ROAG Racing, Leeroy Emslie of Leigh’s Cycles and RMB Change a Life MTB Academy’s Mboneni Ngcobo, who are all regular top finishers in the KZN area.
In the women’s race defending champion, Candice Parker-Dennison, will face two-time winner Hayley Smith.
