Team Dimension Data is looking for a podium position at Sunday’s 217km Cyclassics Hamburg.
The African team’s line-up will include the previous winner, Edvald Boasson Hagen as one of the favourites. With two more fast finishers, Reinardt Janse van Rensburg and Mark Renshaw, the team is confident ahead of a probable bunch sprint.
The UCI World Tour course has seen some of the best sprinters in the world claim victories with a reduced peloton battling it out towards the finish line.
Some teams would definitely be looking to break it up, said van Rensburg, but the team was prepared for all scenarios.
