A TrailSeeker event will be held at Legends MX for the first time when it takes place on Saturday at the adventure centre east of Pretoria.
This forms part of the venue’s plans to open mountain bike-specific trails for year-round use.
The new venue offers fresh challenges and riders in all four distances can expect stimulating race routes.
The marathon includes 592 metres of accumulated elevation.
The early-entry start list contains some strong title contenders, including Max Knox (New Holland Agriculture) and Robyn de Groot (Ascendis Health), the current men and women’s national marathon champions.
