Entries for the Varsity MTB Challenge, taking place in Franschhoek on October 1 and 2, will close on September 12.
The first stage over 53km takes in part of the Cape Epic route, while the second day covers a newly designed trail.
The highlight of the first stage will be when riders get to see the whole of the Boland and Cape Peninsula regions.
The second stage of 54km will predominantly be on the Boschendal trail, a relatively flat ride.
