Entries have filled up faster than expected for the Winelands Encounter taking place in Cape Town from April 21 to 23.
There has been an unprecedented response to preferential entries and it seems very likely that the field is going to fill up before entries open to the public next week.
This has been largely due to current entrants being allowed to enter a non 2016 participant with them in a team.
Riders who haven’t secured their entry and who would still like to take part, are advised to get their entries in as soon as possible.
Notable changes to the format for 2017 include enabling riders to select whether they would like to attend evening dinners, the addition of a formal sleeping bag/tented option, preferential accommodation rates, and route improvements.
