The 2016 Cape Pioneer Trek will broadcast live updates throughout the seven-day stage race in the Garden Route and Klein Karoo region from Sunday.
The elite racing action will be tweeted live by ex-pro mountain biker Oliver Munnik.

Munnik’s enthusiasm is shaped by his personal experience in racing the event, as well as countless other South African mountain bike events. Expect insightful and captivating blow-by-blow updates on the Twitter handle: @CapePioneerTrek.
Zoon Cronje and the Oakpics photographers will be on hand throughout the race to capture it in all its visual splendour.
Bigshot Media will shoot the race with daily highlights to be seen on the event’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
The Cape Pioneer Trek will once again be showcased in a 52-minute SuperSport production and an insert on SuperCycling.
The Pioneer Spirit chat shows will be broadcast live from www.capepioneer.co.za at 6.15pm on October 17, 19 and 21.

The event begins with a 13km prologue along the cliff-top trails and urban paths of Mossel Bay and concludes with a 57km stage from Chandelier Game Reserve to Oudtshoorn on Saturday.
