The South African National Road Cycling Championships in the Western Cape from February 7 to 12 at the Lady Loch Circuit near Wellington could affect travelling times in the region.
Trips on the R44 between Malmesbury and Wellington/Paarl could be affected by up to 45 minutes and organisers advise drivers to consider using the alternate R302 and R44 (via Hermon) roads during this period.
The roads on which the race will take place are the R45 between Paarl/Wellington and Malmesbury, Lady Loch Road, access to the Haaskraal Road and access to the Lady Loch Bridge.
