The Tour de Romandie started in Aigle, Switzerland, today and results for the prologue can be viewed below.
Fabrio Felline kick started the six-day race as he successfully navigated the 4.8km route, slippery from rain.
The Italian set the time to beat and it was Alex Dowsett who came the closest – a close two seconds behind the Tre-Segafredo rider.
Orica-Scott’s Alexander Edmondson had the third fastest time for the day, seven seconds slower than Felline.
