Brendon Davids won the marathon race on the second day of the National MTB Series at Champagne Valley in KwaZulu-Natal today to add to his success of the previous day.
The RoadCover rider completed the 51km course in 1:53:14 to beat Philip Buys (1:54:35) and Matthys Beukes (1:55:50) to the line.
The overall victory went to Davids in 4:39:39, followed by Buys (4:44:17) and Beukes (4:48:13).
Amy Beth McDougall also made it two wins from two races to take the overall title in 5:33:50 ahead of Sarah Hill (6:17:37) and Hayley Smith (6:25:55).
