Tshepo Mashego has been sentenced to 18 months imprisonment after he appeared in the White River Magistrate’s Court for killing South African mountain biker Greg Anderson last Sunday.
Mashego was arrested on the scene and faced charges of culpable homicide and driving under the influence of alcohol. He appeared in the court yesterday.
According to EWN, Mashego pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 36 months in prison, 18 of which were suspended for five years. The 28-year-old’s driving license was also suspended.
