The USSA Cycling Championships concluded with a mountain bike event, which saw Kristen Louw and Arno du Toit ride away with the titles in Port Elizabeth today.
Louw, who rides for Pukke, finished the 14.5km race in 47:49. Frances du Toit and Nicola Giliomee rounded off the podium.
Arno du Toit, who had two near misses in the previous day’s road events, finally took a win as he comfortably finished in 1:05:39, three minutes ahead of Rinus Maarsingh. Max Sullivan claimed third.
