Henry Uys narrowly beat defending champion Alex Pavlov to win the Cycle4Cansa MTB Classic that took place in and around Sun City today.
Uys entered the second lap of the 50km route slightly behind and had to work hard to overtake Pavlov. Andrew Westaway completed the men’s podium.
Kristen Louw was crowned the women’s champion. She was followed by Nicolene Marais and Sharon van den Heever.
Sheldon Kukard and Monique du Plessis finished first in the men’s and women’s category in the 25km event.
