The Storms River Traverse took place at the Tsitsikamma Village Inn in Storms River Village from Friday to Sunday.

Stage one
The opening stage of the Storms River Traverse covered 63.9km of racing and saw Yolande de Villiers and Vincent Hill claim the solo titles. The men’s team race was won by Johann de Wet and Wynand Louw with Anneke Viljoen and Louise Bezuidenhout claiming the honours in the women’s team category. Mixed team honours went to Sarah Hill and Gavin Salt.

Stage two
Participants had to cover 43.2km of mountain biking on stage two of the Storms River Traverse. Claiming the honours in the solo categories were once again Vincent Hill and Yolande de Villiers. Jaco Cockrell and Timothy Hoek powered to victory in the men’s team category. The women’s team race saw Janine Muller and Mari du Toit take the win. Sarah Hill and Gavin Salt made it two out of three when they claimed another victory.

Stage three
The third and final stage was 50km with 380m of climbing, a day that proved to be no match for Yolande de Villers, who took her third win in three days. She finished as not only the first solo woman, but also the first rider overall on each day.
