Riccardo Stermin and Andreas Studer of Powerbar 1 triumphed at the Trans Baviaans The Repeat as they completed the second running of the ultra-distance event this evening.
The pair, who set out from Willowmore with hundreds of other teams from the 230km race at 10am today, reached Jeffreys Bay after 9:43:07 in the saddle.
Stermin and Studer made their mark on the race as they reached the sixth checkpoint well ahead of the competition and continued to set a dominant pace until the final one in Zuurbron.
Johan Coetzee and Jan Gysbert Malan for Cadence Tygervalley finished second and Coimbra Cycles’Jan-Paul Gerber and Vickus Boshoff rounded out the podium.
