Alan Gorden and Roelien Britz won the 60km race at the ATKV-Eiland Spa MTB Challenge at the Hans Merensky Nature Reserve in Limpopo yesterday.
Gorden and Britz both finished well ahead of the competition, with almost an hour separating the men’s race.
The event offered mix of jeep track, single track and farm roads in the area of the reserve and riders could take on a 60km, 30km, 10km or 4km option.
Jandrew Du Preez and Louisette van Helsdingen won the 30k while Hanro Ehlers and Tashane Ehler won the 10km.
