Berg and Bush ‘Great Trek’ results – Day two

Jason Davies and Brennan Anderson made up for lost time when they raced to victory on the second day of the Berg and Bush ‘Great Trek’, which took place in KwaZulu-Natal today.

Due to wet conditions the start of stage one was delayed and it was officially announced as a neutral day of racing.

The Think360 team took in their stride as they opened the official racing with a time of 2:17:37 after 60km. The were followed by Douglas Drysdale and Justin Lange (JustDale) and Carl Adendorff and Dallen Roos (Old Farts).

The women’s race was won by Anelda Erken and Suzette Roode (Juliana’s) as they clocked a time of  3:18:03. Jill Magrath and Caroline Woollam (Forest Fairies) and Isabel Prins and Linky Scholtz (AGO) completed the podium.

Derek Devine and Aileen Anderson won the men’s and women’s solo races.
