Robert Hobson and Charl-Pierre Esterhuyse of Breedenet won the first stage of the Cape Duo Challenge over a distance of 60km from Slanghoek Wine Cellar on the outskirts of Rawsonville today.
In this multi-discipline cycling race, teams of two combine in a relay format to complete a road and mountain bike segment, with the team posting the fastest combined time declared the winners.
