South Africa’s Gert Fouche delivered the country’s first gold medal on day two of the Masters Track Cycling World Championships, which took place at the Velo Sports Center in Carson, California yesterday.
He won the individual pursuit, ahead of Chris Baker in the 35-39 age category. Time-trials, and sprints also took place.
The championships run until Sunday this week.
