Stage one results for the Sanlam MTB Invitational, that covered 60km in the Paarl area today, can be viewed below.

Flandria’s Rossouw Bekker and Robert Hobson claimed the win in 2:48:15, with Bikeshop’s Aidan Connelly and Rogan Smart in second in a time of 2:51:36.
Last year’s winners Ellsworth ASG’s Pieter Seyffert and Hanco Kachelhoffer took third in 2:55:26.
Action Ford’s Juan Pearso and Charlene Vernooy won the mixed team category, with Corne – Cecilia’s Corne Barnard and Cecilia Roberts in second. BP Kenridge’s Walter Diezel and Elmien Stander completed the podium.
The women’s race was won by Pace of Mind’s Halcyone Muller and Heidi Nieuwoudt. Infineo Bluestar’s Annemie Kruger and Ashleigh Moffatt finished second, with Wilna – Eldorette’s Wilna Marais and Eldorette Carinus in third.
