Rwanda’s Bonaventure Uwizeyimana won stage five of Tour du Rwanda in Rwamagana today.
The Club Benediction de Rubavu rider completed the 93.2km race from Nyamata in 2:16:26 ahead of Algeria’s Yacine Hamza, who followed four seconds later, and Illuminate’s Edwin Avila of Columbia.

Dimension Data’s Joseph Areruya (Rwanda) and Metkel Eyob (Eritrea) finished sixth and seventh place respectively.
Areruya continues to lead the general classification with a lessened 38 second lead over Eyob.
