Rainhardt Marais and Anriette Schoeman won the 72km road race at the Festival of Cycling today.
Marais soloed to victory at the race, which started and finished at Grass Roof Farm Stall in Port Elizabeth. Bradley Gouveris, who won the overall criterium title, won the bunch sprint to cross the finish in second, with Max Sullivan finishing in third.

Schoeman won the women’s race, with Juanita Makenzie crossing the finish in second. Ashley Mayhead completed the podium.
Simon Ferreira (47:52) and Belinda-Ann Wiehart (1:05:01) won the junior 28km boys’ and girls’ sections respectively.
