The mountain-bike race will offer an “ideal mid-year breakaway,” said Stillwater Sports Managing Director Michael Meyer.
“The event offers the best off-road routes in the North West Province,” he added.
Entrants can choose between three race options for the event, the 70km, 35km and 15km.
The 70km will start at 8am, with the other two commencing at 8:30am and 9am respectively.
“For an added challenge, they can sign up for both the mountain-bike race and trail run. The event guarantees a rewarding challenge,” said Meyer.
“The MTB Classic will offer a one-of-a-kind experience to all participants, including professional riders,” added CEO of FNB (title sponsor) Mike Vacy-Lyle.
