Delko Marseille Provence’s Javier Moreno Bazan (Spain) won the overall Sharjah Tour after stage four in the United Arab Emirates today.
Kinan Cycling Team’s Thomas Lebas took second overall, with Delko Marseille Provence KTM in third.
The 139.4km stage was won by Wilier Triestina – Selle Italia’s Jakub Mareczko in a time of 2:06:45. Vital Concept Cycling Club’s Bryan Coquard and Vérandas Willems-Crelan’s Aidis Kruopis rounded out the podium.

South Africa’s Eddie van Heerden finished eighth overall and team leader Bradley Potgieter said the team rode well together again in the final stage.
“We rode to protect Eddie to secure his top 10 overall place and King of the Mountains jersey,” he said.
Potgieter added that they had a plan to have Ryan Harris in the sprint.
“Jan [Montshioa], Thokozani [Mahlangu] and I used our energy to keep Reynard [Butler], Ryan and Eddie near the front. I dropped the three of them near the front on the last lap and Reynard took over in the last 5km to lead Ryan out.
“Unfortunately it was not meant to be as Ryan, positioned perfectly, was taken out in an unfortunate crash on the last corner. He is okay and all six of us finished the tour,” said Potgieter.
