Insect Science’s Alan Gordon and Timothy Hammond claimed victory on the second stage of the Knysna Bull in the Western Cape today.
The overall leaders finished the stage in 2:57:19. Canyon Topeak/ETW’s Robert Hobson and Erik Kleinhans finished second in 3:05:03, with Bike Shop-Scott-Strocam’s Aidan Connelly and Rogan Smart in third with a time of 3:05:03.

The mixed team category was again won by Cape Brewing Company’s Jennie Stenerhag and Craig Gerber in 3:19:23. The second team to cross the finish line were Team Merchants’ Jeannie Dreyer and Martin Dreyer with Crank and Crankier’s Nicky Giliomee and Tony Haralambous in third.
Helderberg Cycle World’s Hanna Winberg and Anneke Viljoen won the women’s race in a time of 4:10:38.
The solo men’s race was won again by Dylan Rebello in 2:50:21. Second over the line was Robert Sim in 3:06:42, with Martin Cilliers finishing third in 3:20:39.
Theresa Ralph won the solo women’s race in 3:43:00, beating Nickey Botes and Megan Lloyd.
Gordon and Hammond are the leaders overall, with Hobson and Kleinhans in second and Connelly and Smart in third.
The mixed category is led by Stenerhag and Gerber, with the Dreyer team in second and Giliomee and Haralambous in third.
Rebello leads the solo men’s category, while Ralph is in the lead for the women.
