ASG-Ellsworth’s HB Kruger and Stuart Marais won the fourth stage of the TransCape MTB Encounter, which took riders on a 106km challenge from Riversdale to Swellendam today.
The pair won their fourth straight UCI Men’s category in 4:09:59, beating Team Happysalmon’s Eirik Fiskvik and Thomas Engelsgjerd in second.
Engelsgjerd finished the race in first ahead of the ASG-Ellsworth pair, but his teammate Fiskvik came in fourth. Chiru-Magura/Canyon’s Antonin Marecaille and Julian Biefang completed the podium seven minutes later.

Udo Mueller won the solo men’s category for the fourth stage in a row, finishing in 4:39:56. Conway Oliver and Massimo Mancini came home in second and third respectively.
