ASG-Ellsworth’s HB Kruger and Stuart Marais won the sixth stage of the TransCape MTB Encounter, which took riders on a shorter 74km challenge from Greyton to Houwhoek today.
The pair won the UCI men’s category in 2:44:31, beating Team Happysalmon’s Eirik Fiskvik and Thomas Engelsgjerd and Topeak Ergon-Sprocket & Jack’s Grant Usher and Yuki Ikeda in second and third respectively.

Udo Mueller won the solo men’s category for the fifth consecutive stage, finishing in 2:56:52. Roland Mueller, finishing three and a half minutes later, closely followed him. Massimo Mancini rounded out the podium almost 14 later.
