Canyon Topeak’s Alban Lakata and Kristian Hynek finished the third stage of the Cape Epic, which travelled from Robertson to Worcester, in first place today.
The pair finished the 122km course, which is also known as the longest day, in a time of 4:17:14.

Investec-Songo-Specialized’s Jaroslav Kulhavy and Howard Grotts finish 1’05” back.
Cannondale Factory Racing’s Manuel Fumic and Henrique Avancini ended in third and lost the yellow jersey to Kulhavy and Grotts.
Fourth place went to the second Bulls team Simon Stiebjahn and Tim Bohme, with Centurion Vaude’s Nicola Rohrbach and Daniel Geismayr in fifth.
In the women’s race, overall leaders Annika Langvad and Kate Courtney took their fourth win in four days.
Team Spur’s Ariane Luthi and Githa Michiels were second overall the line, with Ascendis Health’s Sabine Spitz and Robyn de Groot in third.
