Max Knox and Yolande Speedy won the men’s and women’s race at the Cullinan2Tonteldoos, which took place between Cullinan in Gauteng and Tonteldoos in Mpumalanga, today.
Knox finished the 260km ultra mountain bike race in a time of 9:52:14 and was followed home by Gert Janse van Rensburg, who finished in 10:38:22, and Barend Burger, who claimed a time of 10:39:00.
Christo Carelsen finished in fourth, with Rudi Janse van Rensburg in fifth.

In the women’s race, Speedy crossed the finish line after 12:35:33, Elaine Vermeulen finished in second place in 14:01:45, with Niene Steenekamp completing the podium with a time of 14:46:58.
Fourth and fifth place went to Yolandie Borman and Rebecca Sands.
JMC Racing’s Devon Main and Jonathan Moss won the men’s team race. BTN’s Ben Coetzee and Cobus van der Linde finished in second, with J&K’s Johan Conradie and Kent Hutchons in third.
The women’s team race was won by Turbo & Bee & The Machine’s Annie David, Nicky Booyens and Siska van der Bijl. Second place went to Nix and Dell’s Adele Ambrose and Lauren Walker.
Funfessionals’ Chase Esquino and Johlene Faul won the mixed team race. Team Focus’ David O’Brien, Mark Williams and Sinead Wannenburg came in second, with Addicted2Adventure’s Jolene and Thinus Matthysen in third.
