Gerrit Rautenbach won the main 36km feature of the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium MTB Challenge, which took place in and around the stadium in Port Elizabeth today.
Rautenbach completed the race in 1:13:04, beating Franco McLeod and Lloyd Vos into second and third respectively.
Andrea Shirley, who won the Longmore Classic in December, won the women’s race in 1:22:20. Andrea De Waal and Cindy Ferry completed the podium.
