Terengganu’s Artem Ovechkin has moved into the overall lead after the 169.4km fifth stage of the Tour de Langkawi that finished in Cameron Highlands today.
St George Continental Cycling Team’s Benjamin Dyball finished 28″ later, with Dimension Data’s Amanuel Ghebreigzabhier Werkilul in third.

Astana Pro Team’s Yevgeniy Gidich was fourth over the line, while Kinan Cycling Team’s Thomas Lebas completed the top five.
“My feelings were good on the climb, so I tried many times and the group split many times. With my condition, I am so happy with my performance,” said Ovechkin.
Dyball is also second on the general classification, with Mitchelton-BikeExchange’s Harrison Sweeny in third.
