Mark Stewart won the men’s 40km points race finals at the Commonwealth Games track event in the Anna Meares Velodrome today.
The Scotsman completed the race with a total 81 points, beating New Zealander Campbell Stewart (69) and Englishman Ethan Hayter (68) into second and third respectively.

South Africa’s Steven van Heerden finished in 18th, with his compatriots Nolan Hoffman and David Maree having not finished the race.
