Australian Chloe Hosking won the women’s road race at the Commonwealth Games in Currumbin Beach today.
The Alé-Cipollini rider finished the 112.2km course in a time of 3:02:18. Olympic athlete Georgia Williams, who is from New Zealand, crossed the line in second place split seconds after.

The English born Welsh track cyclist Danielle Rowe completed the podium.
New Zealand’s Sharlotte Lucas finished in fourth place, while fifth place went to Australia’s Sarah Roy.
The men’s road race was won by Australian Steele Von Hoff.
