Mboneni Ngcobo and Erika Velissariou won the 60km feature of the Freedom Race, which took place at Inanda Dam, KwaZulu-Natal, yesterday.
Ngcobo completed the race in 2:17:05, beating Bradley Rowlett and Dean Wortmann into second and third respectively.

Velissariou won the women’s category in 3:04:46. She beat Brigit Potgieter into second, with Yvette Roberts rounding out the podium.
Kusaselihle Ngidi (1:33:48) and Euodia Swart (1:57:39) each won the 40km race.
