Clint Hendricks said he will be going all out to defend his title in the 100km Tour Durban on Sunday.
Hendricks won the race for RoadCover last year. His then teammates Brendon Davids and Willie Smit – now plying their trade overseas – finished second and third respectively.

Now riding for BCX, Hendricks said they would like to keep the title in the team.
“The team is looking forward to it and we would like to keep the title,” Hendricks told In the Bunch today.
“The Tour Durban is one of my favourite classics and I always enjoy racing in the area. The weather, scenery and roads are all great.”
Although he won last year, Hendricks said anything could happen on race day.
“It does not always come down to a bunch sprint,” he said. “We will have our cards ready for all types of scenarios.
“If it does come down to a bunch sprint, we will maybe look to Nolan [Hoffman] to do what he does best.
“Last year we were fortunate enough to have three of us ride away, from the same team.
“Nolan has had a good week in the legs, so we will try to set him up for the best outcome.”
