Gawie Combrinck and Nico Bell were the first men’s team over the line on the final neutral stage of joBerg2c in Scottburgh today.
Due to it being neutral, all riders received a time of 4:02:51 for the stage. Second over the line were Insect Science’s Alan Gordon and Timothy Hammond, with Silverback-Best4Sports-Mad Macs’ Shaun-Nick Bester and Declan Sidey in third. Combrinck and Bell won the overall title.

Galileo Risk’s Theresa Ralph and Sarah Hill finished first in the women’s team race, with Nix and Del’s Adele Ambrose and Lauren Walker in second and 2 nam bred Moms’ Wilmien Chamberlain and Johanita de Waal in third. Ralph and Hill were the overall winners.
The mixed team race was won by dormakaba Mixed’s Amy McDougall and Arno du Toit. Team Summit’s Darren and Candice Lill finished second, with Surgeons for Little Lives-Mitas’ Johan Labuschagne and Catherine Williamson in third. McDougall and Du Toit took the overall title.
Matthys Beukes finished first in the solo men’s race, with Yvette Roberts first in the women’s race. The two riders also placed first overall in their respective categories.
