NiteCore launched its intelligent new BR35 bicycle light featuring a versatile dual distance beam in South Africa this month.
The lightweight handlebar-mounted unit has a brightness of 1 800 lumens and has close and long-range LED lights that can be activated independently or in unison to suit the terrain or your needs.
The BR35 includes an optional remote pressure switch for the selection of three different modes (city, road and trail) and brightness levels are adjustable with the click of a button.

The maximum beam distance is 176m while the short-range beam has a reflection area of 5m in diameter that effectively illuminates dead zones.
Both beams are activated in trail mode and the warning strobe light is for daytime riding.
The device is small and fully self-contained so there is no annoying battery pack or battery pack cables.
The unit’s 6 800Mah Li-ion battery is micro-USB rechargeable and can run from one to 17 hours in the various modes.
The OLED display is a fancy bonus and indicates mode and remaining runtime.
It is both waterproof and impact resistant and mounts via a click-on connector.
