Astana Pro’s Miguel Angel Lopez won the 145.5km second stage of the Tour of the Alps, which finished atop the Alpe di Pampeago in Italy yesterday.
The Colombian completed the stage in 3:55:30, beating Groupama-FDJ’s Thibaut Pinot (France) and Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec’s Ivan Ramiro Sosa Cuervo (Colombia) into second and third resepctively.

DiData’s Ben O’Connor (Australia) finished eighth, while South African teammate Louis Meintjies finished 28th.
Ramiro Sosa Cuervo took the race lead ahead of the stage three later today.
