Mitchelton-Scott’s Simon Yates won the 156km 11th stage of the Giro d’Italia, which finished in Osimo today.
The Brit completed the race in 3:25:53, out sprinting Team Sunweb’s Tom Dumoulin (Netherlands) to the line. Bora-Hansgrohe’s Davide Formolo (Italy) rounded out the podium.

Yates extended his race lead to 47 seconds over Dumoulin ahead of the 12th stage tomorrow. Groupama-FDJ’s Thibaut Pinot (France) is in third.
