Team Sunweb’s Tom Dumoulin won the 9.7km time-trial on the first stage of the Giro d’Italia, which took place in Jerusalem, Israel, today.
The Dutchman completed the route in 12:02, finished two seconds faster than BMC Racing’s Rohan Dennis (Australia) and Lotto Soudal’s Victor Campenaerts (Belgium) in second and third respectively.
