NAD Pro’s Matt Beers and Nico Bell won the 99km second stage of the sani2c Race, which finished in Jolivet, KwaZulu-Natal, today.
The pair completed the race in 3:26:23, edging DSV’s Gert Heyns and Arno du Toit by two seconds. PYGA Euro Steel’s second team Phillimon Sebona and Pieter du Toit completed the podium a further three minutes back, beating the first team Matthys Beukes and Julian Jessop into fourth by 10 seconds.

Team dormakaba SA’s Amy McDougall and Samantha Sanders won the women’s race in 3:52:09. Bestmed’s Kristen Louw and Danielle Strydom and Andrea de Boer and Hayley Smith and followed.
Team Garmin’s Yolandi du Toit and Ben-Melt Swanepoel took the spoils in the mixed category, winning in 4:07:30. They beat Joanna van de Winkel and Marcel Rodrigues (Cycle Nation-Bring it on) into second. Candice and Wesley Parker-Dennison (Got Two) completed the podium.
