Jandre Storm has joined Vander Group, team owner Anton van der Merwe announced today.

Van der Merwe feels the 21-year-old, who previously rode for MyVelo and Luso Pro Cycling, will add a lot of value to the team.
“His appointment was discussed carefully between team captain Bradley [Potgieter] and our management and we decided that he could become a very important rider for us,” Van der Merwe told In the Bunch.
“Jandre wants to take his cycling to the next level and he believes he can get the support and motivation he needs from our set-up. He is a strong rider and riding with Bradley he can play an important role.
“He let us know he is not with a team at the moment and he will officially join after some formalities are completed.”
Storm said he was very motivated and excited to become a part of Vander Group.
“My objective for Vander Group is to deliver the best for the team,” Storm said. “That includes maybe winning a classic here and there and definitely to dominate the under-23 category.
